This is a beautiful rendition of Carol of The Bells & God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen conducted by music director Dan Drzymalski, with solo violin by Brenda van der Merwe, as performed with the St. Leonard Choral Society and North End Chamber Orchestra during the annual Christmas Concert 2017 in Boston’s North End.
This beautiful melody, now popularly known in English as ‘Carol of the Bells is based on the traditional Ukrainian chant ‘Shchedryk’.
